Thank you. Very much.
So, we have a number of code cleanup and documentation cleanup things
we've been working on over the winter intercession between classes.
(Our core team is mostly university faculty, so our hacking time is
limited during the academic year.) That said, your "documentation
bugs" are very, very welcome. I have already addressed some of them,
but before the end of the weekend, I'll do my best to make sure every
one of them is addressed.[1]
When I think I've got a revision on the text that addresses these
issues, I'll ask if you'd be so kind as to give it a go. (I'll
obviously try and work through with the same set of eyes you have, but
you're the best person to tell me if the fixes address the challenges
you faced.) If you're willing to do that, I'd appreciate it greatly.
We'll continue to revise and fix until you are satisfied, or until we
hit technical hurdles that are simply difficult to overcome. I
understand your initial experience with these tools has been
frustrating, but I really do welcome that perspective. We want to try
and climb the usability hill as much as is possible with the time and
resources we have... so any help (criticism, comments, etc.) you're
able to provide are hugely valuable.
Thank you for joining the list and posting these. That's exactly the
kind of stuff that helps our project improve.
Cheers,
Matt

github.com, mostly because I wanted to experiment with Git.
