I only got back a day or two ago, but a critical thing I need to add
to the automation for generating the Deb packages is *error checking*.

Or, if you prefer, I need to make the Python script actually check
that critical build products are in place.

I'll try and check this tomorrow. In addition, I'll try and put up a
Trac wiki page that tells people how to run the package building
scripts themselves.
