JEdit will work as an editor for occam on linux, though I with the
default install I don't think it recognises .occ files as being occam,
so you might have to fix that in the preferences. The "occplug" plugin
and that stuff won't work at the moment, so you will have to build and
upload using the command line.
I use VIM. It has had occam syntax highlighting support since around
version 7 I think. You may have to enable syntax highlighting (by
typing ":syntax on"). If you're not used to vim of course, this might
not be your first choice of editor :)
Other than that I'm not too clued up on editors for Linux.
