<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div style>First, we've refreshed the website. Admittedly, there is a lot more work to be done, but good things are coming.</div><div style><br></div><div style><a href="http://concurrency.cc/">http://concurrency.cc/</a></div>
<div style><br></div><div style>Second, "Plumb" is released! It, too, is early days, but if you'd give it a whirl, I'd appreciate it.</div><div style><br></div><div style>This is a small app that you can run on Mac or Windows. It lets you pick a serial port, board type, and the file you want to compile. From there, it handles compiling your code and burning it to the Arduino. You have to have an internet connection for it to work (the compiler lives on a remote server).</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>There is also an "Examples" menu. This lets you bring up examples right in the app, and then send them directly to your Arduino. This is nice for figuring out if everything is working.</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>If you poke it with a stick, please let me know how things go. I'll be adding more things over time... for example, right now it only handles FTDI-based Arduinos, and only older (Duemilanove) boards... Uno support and larger AVRs will come shortly. </div>
<div style><br></div><div style>The source lives at:</div><div style><br></div><div style><a href="https://github.com/concurrency/plumb">https://github.com/concurrency/plumb</a></div><div style><br></div><div style>the examples live at </div>
<div style><br></div><div style><a href="https://bitbucket.org/jadudm/plumbing-examples">https://bitbucket.org/jadudm/plumbing-examples</a><br></div><div style><br></div><div style>and if you're interested in helping out in any way, feel free to let us know here or on the developers@ list. </div>
<div style><br></div><div style>This is all early days... but, I'm reasonably pleased with the direction it is going.</div><div style><br></div><div style>Cheers,</div><div style>Matt</div></div>
