[C.CC USERS] download and books problems

Dear Folks,

     I just subscribed to the list and started going through the plumbing book. I have encountered two problems. The first is about the material that is downloaded. When I opened Plumb on my WINDOWS machine, all I got was a black screen (like a terminal window but without a prompt) in a frame. Nothing like that shown in the plumbing book. Is something wrong? Am I missing something? The second is about the pdf books that are available for download. All the links go to a German site which does not contain the books. Is there a problem here?
