Hi Paul,
I have been doing some testing on a 2560 (which is the closets I can
get to a 1280) and currently things are not working. I have not had
time to delve into more details on that front (though it looks like
the VM is crashing at some point as I get some irregular blinking on
the LED). I will try to get around to looking at the 1280/2560 problem
some more but there are quite a few other things also fighting for
time.
