[CCC DEV] LCD-support Arduino.cc code port?

Hi, all; consider this my de-lurk on the dev list. Is anyone porting /
has anyone tried to port any subset of the Arduino.cc LCD driver code
to Plumbing? I haven't checked the archives, just the list contents
since I joined. Apologies if I haven't looked under the right rock.

My occam-fu is not strong enough to take it on. But perhaps this is
how one gets strong occam-fu. ;)

Any comments or thoughts?

PS: A special thanks to Matt for throwing me in the shallow end of the
documentation briar patch with a hearty cry of "You can DO eeet!". I'm
having too much fun figuring out LaTeX tools on Windows XP at the
moment, but I look forward to inflicting maximum help.
