Hi all,
Out of curiousity: will there be any spare cycles in the group as we
move towards the OSCON presentation? My goals (subject to revision)
roughly involve:
1. Have installers for Mac, Windows, and Debian/Ubuntu (tar.gz or
.deb) in that priority order
2. JEdit integration with Arduino up-to-date. This implies:
2a. Working serial console (currently broken)
2b. Ability to select board type (currently no choice?) between 328
and 1280-based boards
2c. Firmware upload (works, needs to support board choice)
3. Update notification on Windows, Linux
4. Plumbing completion/stabilization (for 328/1280)
* ADC
* serial
* servo
* TWI (master)
* SPI (master)
5. Updates to text to reflect state of system at time of OSCON.
* Ideally, updates to include new library stuffs
6. Website refresh/updates -- make it easier for people who have no
idea what this is about to get started.
7. Any current work of the group that you would like highlighted in
the talk -- images, pictures, links to such things should be sent
along to the team list or to me personally.
Most of this is in a fairly good place. The pure-occam work is coming
along, and supporting the Mega in time for OSCON (which is necessary
for the UAV project, anyway) shouldn't be too difficult at all. Given
improved installer/packing setup, we'll be in a good place for pushing
updates. The biggest holes right now are, I suspect, JEdit completion,
a Windows installer, and decent packaging for Linux.
Anyone think they'll have any cycles before July 19th, and want to
claim a piece of the pie?
Cheers,
Matt
