[CCC DEV] ARM toolchain under Debian?

Hi all,

The AVR toolchain under Debian/Ubuntu is a piece of cake: there's a
package. The ARM toolchain (despite there being sixteen bazillion ARM
processors on the planet) does not seem to have a Debian package. Or,
am I wrong?

Regardless, are there any recommendations for how best to set up an
ARM toolchain? At the moment, I suspect we'll only be working with the
ARM7. (At this end, we'll be finishing up the Scribbler/Fluke port,
which will likely be informed by/overlap with the NXT port.)
