Hi Dennis,

The instructions on that page certainly builds binaries that, as far
as I can tell, work. The script is meant for making the jEdit based
environment (like the one that you can download for the Mac), but I
have not quite gotten that far yet. However, you will get usable
binaries out of this, though they will be a bit 'all over the place'
(ie there is no convenient make install that puts everything in the
right place).

In general I would be happy if you were able to try out the
instructions on your computer though and report back if you had any
problems. It works for me... :)
